My son and I have just returned from Paris having spent 3 nights in the hotel. Although the hotel is tucked away down a side street, it is within easy reach of several metro stations and about a 10 minute walk to Nation RER station – convenient for taking the train to Disneyland (about a 35 minute train journey). The main sights of central Paris were about a 30 min trip away on the Metro. There are a number of cafes and restaurants in the area, a small supermarket almost opposite the hotel and at least 2 “Patisserie’s” nearby.
Staff at the hotel were very friendly and spoke excellent English (handy with my poor French!).
As many reviewers have stated, the room was small. Unfortunately there were a few things not right in the room; the air con/heating didn’t seem to work, there was no shower head holder in the bath, so my son who wasn’t used to that, managed to get water on the floor, and there was no working plug in the sink which made wet shaving harder! Despite these things, the room was clean and the free Wifi was very useful, especially for planning our days out.
I would recommend the hotel for those on a tight budget who want somewhere that is convenient for seeing the sights of Paris and within easy reach of Disneyland.
If you’re looking for a budget friendly stay in Paris this totally does the job. Very modern, clean and convenient. The rooms are small, but you expect that in a city like Paris. The bed was comfy and the rainfall shower was one of the best I’ve experienced. It’s conveniently located close to metro stations and a short journey into central Paris. For the price, it’s one of the best.
Love the big bowl of sweets in reception too, nice touch!
We spend 2 nights in this hotel. It’s hidden away and not easy to find at first. Rooms are small but clean and modern. Free WIFI. Close to metro station with good links to the rest of the city. Fairly priced, and staff were very friendly. There are a few restaurants, bars and cafes very close. Would recommend this hotel!
It’s not easy to find a nice smart and casual hotel in Paris. Most of them are small and old or big and very expensif (very very)
This one is just in exception. Very nice service, room are small but new and smart. Free internet acces. Good situation. So if you are looking for a nice trendy hotel for a very good price. Go to this one. Booking is cheaper on the hotel webside.
This is one of the few trendy boutique hotels in Paris which also falls into a fair price range and which has rooms with more space the usual Paris hotel rooms. Apart, the hotel is in a nice quiet street close to Place de Bastille, some small scale shopping streets and close to the metro which takes you in just 15 to 30 minutes to all the toerist hot spots in Paris. Breakfast is really great and the staff is very friendly and helpful with anything. And that in fluent English.
I spent two nights with my wife, The hotel has a nice, modern design. The room wasn’t very big, but new and clean. Bathroom was fine as well. Breakfast was ok too. The hotel is well comunicated with Paris city centre by underground.
If you are looking for good value for the money, in such a expensive city, this id the right place to stay.
Hotel is very well connectes with one of the main metro lines, 15 minutes far from city centre.
There is very good market 20 metres away from hotel and Pharmacy as well.
Breakfast is fine: cheese, ham, sweets, orange juice, coffees, teas.
The rooms are very small with little place for your clothes, but very modern and clean.
Staff is friendly and available 00-24h.
We stayed 3 nights including a trip to Disney land so the hotel was ideally situated for the train line there and metro stops in the City. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak great english which is great when you can’t remember your room number in french before coffee! Breakfast was lovely with a good selection of food and drinks. The room was clean and well layed out with the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in. We would definately come here again.
Our room was small which is usual in Paris. It was very clean, nicely furnished and decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Flat screen TV with many international channels. Free wifi that worked well in the room. The bathroom was also clean and fresh. The rainwater shower had plenty of power and the shower cubicle was spacious. The shower had a half screen of glass so was not enclosed. This resulted in the bathroom floor getting wet. My only gripe.
Lots of good restaurants around the hotel. Metro and rail links close by.
We had the pleasure to stay twice in a 2 years interval at the Colors Design Hotel and both times were delighted by the comfort and design of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff and the prices. Situated in a very lively neighborhood, the hotel is conveniently close to many touristic attractions.
